WATCH: Billy Ray Cyrus appears in hip hop version of ‘Achy Breaky Heart’

TORONTO — Talk show host Larry King, nearly-naked models, twerking dancers and Billy Ray Cyrus? They all show up in a bizarre new video from the son of R&B legend Dionne Warwick.

A hip-hop version of Cyrus’ 1992 pop-country hit “Achy Breaky Heart” by Buck 22 was released Tuesday and quickly got Miley-size tongues wagging.

Buck 22 is Damon Elliott, the 40-year-old son of Warwick (and second-cousin of the late Whitney Houston). Cyrus, of course, is the 52-year-old father of pop star Miley Cyrus.

Buck 22 said he convinced Cyrus to collaborate on the track while producing the country star’s duet with Warwick for her upcoming 50th anniversary album.

In addition to sampling the chorus from Cyrus’ blockbuster hit, the singer shouts out “wrecking ball!” during the song — a reference to his daughter’s hit single.

“Achy Breaky Heart” was written by Don Von Tress and originally titled “Don’t Tell My Heart.” After being rejected by Oak Ridge Boys, the song was recorded by The Marcy Brothers before Cyrus did his own version for his album Some Gave All.
