TORONTO – Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who went missing last Friday in the city’s southwest end.

Jelaine Benitez, 15, was last seen in the area of Bathurst Street and Lakeshore Drive on Friday, January 24, 2014.

She is described as black, 5’6″ with a thin build, long black hair extensions, and brown eyes.

Benitez was last seen wearing a black puffy-style hooded jacket, a black t-shirt, black jeans and black Nike “Jordan” branded running shoes with pink accents.

Police are concerned for her safety.
