The 32-year-old man was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition;  police believe his condition was later upgraded to stable, although that has not been confirmed by EMS.

Officers scoured the area looking for the man’s assailant. They discovered a knife believed to be the weapon used in the attack  in a nearby garbage can.

The man they are looking for is described as black, around 35 years old and 5’6″ in height with a slim build.

Police don’t believe the attack was random and say it may be drug-related.
