UPDATED: George Smitherman’s husband, Christopher Peloso, was found dead on December 30.

TORONTO – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding 40-year-old Christopher Peloso, who has been missing since Sunday morning.

Peloso, who is married to former mayoral candidate George Smitherman, was last seen in the Bloor Street West and Lansdowne Avenue area around 11 a.m.

He is described as a white male, 5’8”, 140 lbs., with thinning light brown hair cut short and a scar on his left temple. He was last seen wearing a dark blue bomber jacket, black dress boots with laces, and grey or blue denim pants.

This is the second time Peloso has been reported missing this year. In September he disappeared for two days before being found along a set of railroad tracks near Dupont Street and Lansdowne Avenue.
