Cocaine, crystal meth seized in Saskatoon drug bust

SASKATOON – Police have seized over eight pounds of drugs after a bust at two different locations in Saskatoon.

Members of the integrated organized crime north, which is made of up members from Saskatoon police and the RCMP, made the bust on Thursday.

A search of a home in the 800-block of Confederation Drive turned up a half-pound of marijuana.

Police also searched a hotel room in the 1800-block of Idylwyld Drive where 9.3 ounces of crystal meth, 6.3 ounces of cocaine and seven pounds of marijuana were found.

A large quantity of cash was also seized.

Three men, two from British Columbia and one from Saskatoon, were charged with possession for the purposed of trafficking and appeared in court on Friday.
