TORONTO — A song that poses the question “What does the Fox Say?” has been named YouTube’s top trending video of 2013.
The video for the Ylvis hit “The Fox” — which has had more than 276 million views since September — topped “Harlem Shake” and How Animals Eat Their Food by MisterEpicMann.
The video for “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus ranked No. 4 and Evian’s baby&me rounded out the top five.
In sixth place was Jean Claude Van Damme’s epic splits for Volvo Trucks, followed by The Lonely Island’s “YOLO,” the coffee shop prank to promote Carrie, THE NFL: A Bad Lip Reading and Mozart vs. Skrillex: Epic Rap Battles of History Season 2.
YouTube said the top trending music video of 2013 was “Gentleman” by Psy, followed by “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus, “We Can’t Stop” by Cyrus, “Roar” by Katy Perry and P!nk’s “Just Give Me a Reason.”
