980 CKNW Supports Bladder Cancer Canada Walk

Walk when and where you want – anytime in September!  Run on your treadmill, hike your favourite ravine, or stroll your neighbourhood. Whatever you choose, stay safe! And don’t forget to share your photos and videos with us. Post them to your social media with the hashtag #BCCWalk or email them to us at walk@bladdercancercanada.org.

In Canada alone, over 80,000 people live with, or have survived bladder cancer. With the help of our caring supporters, Bladder Cancer Canada serves almost 6,000 of these men, women, and children – and helps to support their loved ones. That means there are many more Canadians facing diagnosis, treatment and recovery without us. On top of that, almost 12,000 new cases are diagnosed each year. Even though bladder cancer is the 5th most common cancer, it doesn’t get its fair share of total cancer research money.
