The annual Escarpment Project is on Sunday April 30 2017 It is Hamilton’s and Ontario’s largest volunteer environmental clean up. Volunteers gather at various locations across the escarpment from Dundas through Hamilton and Stoney Creek to Grimsby and remove the litter and debris that has been left there. Afterwards there is a BBQ festival for all the volunteers at Punchbowl Market – 123 Ridge Road in Stoney Creek. For more info visit http://www.escarpmentproject.ca

The Escarpment Festival is happening on Sunday April 30th at Punchbowl Market. This festival is unique from other festivals in that people are invited to drop off recyclables such as; tires, electronics, scrap metal, paint cans and batteries. After that they can stick around and enjoy our BBQ, beer and bands. People can also purchase rain barrels. We call this the 4 B’s of recycling; BBQ, Beer, Bands and rain Barrels.
