Rustie Dean

Early mornings are nothing new for Rustie Dean. For five years Rustie entertained listeners first thing in the morning as the main host of Country100 in Moose Jaw.

After learning a great deal from radio, Rustie’s ambition and determination quickly led her into television where she was thrilled to begin her role on Global Morning News, handling Weather and Traffic.

A Saskatchewan girl at heart, Rustie grew up on a farm west of Moose Jaw and knows the important role weather plays in our province. Her passion for broadcasting paired with her love for weather has proved to be a perfect fit!

To help her get through the mornings, Rustie enjoys a good cup of Starbucks coffee.  When Rustie is not busy with community events in Regina or Moose Jaw, you can find her on the ice where she is a Professional Figure Skating Coach working with Recreational and Competitive skaters.
