Asked how he would respond to the demand for a public inquiry from Nadar Hasan, the lawyer for Umar Zameer, Toronto police Chief Myron Demkiw said it was “not a decision for me to make.” Commenting further on the results of the OPP report that cleared TPS officers of criminal wrongdoing, Demkiw said he is “committed to complete transparency.”
