UBCM delegates vote to continue vaccine mandate for health-care workers
Description
September 21, 2023
Delegates at the Union of BC Municipalities have voted down a motion to end the province's COVID-19 vaccination mandates for health-care workers. B.C. is the very last province to require the vaccine. As Richard Zussman reports, the issue sparked a huge debate on how to solve an ongoing staffing shortage strain on the system.
