U.S. national security advisor Jake Sullivan said during a White House briefing on Thursday that the U.S. is in touch with both Canada and India, after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged that Indian government agents had links to the murder of a Sikh separatist leader in British Columbia. Sullivan told reporters that he “firmly” rejected the idea of a wedge between the U.S. and Canada on this issue.
