EU calls on China to “join forces” to help end Russia-Ukraine war

European Council President Charles Michel called upon China to “join forces” with the United Nations (UN) and help end the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war Wednesday. Beijing abstained from votes by the 193-member UN General Assembly that asked Moscow to withdraw its troops from Ukraine.
