The B.C. government is launching two new initiatives to speed up homebuilding in the province: an online hub for permitting and a step-by-step guide for homeowners who want to build and rent secondary suites. In a Sept. 18, 2023, press conference, Housing Minister Ravi Kahlon explained the second initiative and provided an update on legislation and rebates that will soon accompany it.
