Several groups are once again calling on the Quebec government to recognize systemic racism. The province’s Bill 32, which aims to put in place practices of cultural sensitivity in the health-care system, is before a committee this week. Community members and family of the late Joyce Echequan are calling for the bill to be rewritten. Global’s Franca Mignacca reports.
