The updated Moderna Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine is the first to cross the finish line for use this fall. This version has been authorized for those who are six months and older – children between six months and four years of age should get two doses if they have previously not had a COVID-19 vaccine. If they have had one or more doses they should receive a single dose. Katherine Ward has more.
