Youth struggling with mental health and addictions in the Downtown Eastside now have access to a new outreach centre, which opened Fri. Sept. 8, 2023 on Powell Street. At its launch, Mental Health and Addictions Minister Jennifer Whiteside and Vancouver Coastal Health clinical planner Emily Giguere explained the significance of the centre and how they plan to connect with those in need.
