The closure of Roxham Road this spring was supposed to slow the arrival of asylum seekers to the province. But those in Montreal working to support migrants say the number of arrivals to the city hasn’t abated. The owner of one Montreal shelter says she’s doing her best but needs help addressing the housing crisis which is now affecting asylum seekers. Global’s Phil Carpenter reports.
