In response to wildfires that have been raging across the country this summer, most recently prompting mass evacuations in the Northwest Territories and B.C., Natural Resources Minister Johnathan Wilkinson said Tuesday that Canada needs to mitigate the worst impacts of climate change and “find ways to better protect critical infrastructure” from its damaging impacts.
