Trump plans to surrender on Aug. 24 in Georgia for election charges

Former U.S. president Donald Trump posted on social media on Monday evening that he will turn himself in on Thursday as he faces charges in Georgia. The former president is accused of illegally plotting to overturn his 2020 election loss in Georgia, the social media post came hours after his bond was set at $200,000.
