Dramatic increase in animal surrenders for Peterborough-area shelters

Peterborough and Northumberland Humane Society locations have dropped adoption prices for the month of August. The goal is to increase adoptions and decrease pressure on shelters.
Tricia Mason learns more about the importance of keeping animals’ shelter stays to a minimum. She speaks to Peterborough Humane Society executive director Shawn Morey and meets Bison, a 2-year-old dog who is looking for his forever family.
