Montreal’s Little Burgundy celebrates Emancipation Day

Little Burgundy’s Oscar-Peterson Park held a celebration on Sunday to mark Emancipation Day — the day that commemorates the Abolition of Slavery Act. The goal of the celebrations were to honour the past and reflect the present. Phil Carpenter has more from the festive event that brought together an array of diverse artists.
