(From July 27, 2023) Many Albertans are about to pay the highest electricity bills they’ve ever had. Proposed rates for the RRO (regulated rate option) are hitting all-time highs. Enmax wants to increase RRO to 31.8 cents per kWh, while Epcor wants to increase it to 32.5. Provincial affairs reporter Saif Kaisar has the details.
