New policing standards for sexual assault cases

The B.C. government is creating new standards for police officers while conducting sexual assault investigations. The move aims to make the process more sensitive to the needs of survivors and improve trust in the justice system. But as Global’s Kristen Robinson reports, while advocates are encouraged by the news, some concerns remain.
