Canadian filmmaker James Cameron said on Tuesday, while visiting an exhibit in Ottawa, Ont., that a good friend of his perished in the 'Titan' submersible incident. "P.H. Nargeolet – who is a legendary submersible pilot, fellow Titanic explorer – so it's an emotional shock, it's like a gut-punch you don't expect it because you don't expect an implosion to happen because that's what you spend all your time and finite element analysis in your computer simulation and everything else to prevent. But they obviously didn't do that, they didn't approach it with the same rigour and discipline, unfortunately," Cameron said.
