Residents of New Delhi and Manali in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state were grappling Saturday with the damage and loss caused by floods after heavy rain. In Manali, one the worst affected villages, roads were severely damaged and a school building was washed away. “Our memories are also washed away with the school,” former student Chandrakala said.
