Tornado warnings, strong winds, torrential rains, and forest fire smoke: Montreal’s extreme start to summer

Tornado warnings are exceedingly rare in Montreal, but Environment Canada issued one as a dangerous weather system bore down on the city. It follows torrential rains and days of bad air quality due to forest fire smoke. As Global’s Gloria Henriquez reports, experts say the extreme weather is due in part to the changing global climate.
