University of Saskatchewan researchers using advanced simulation to train future truck drivers

Humboldt-born, University of Saskatchewan Ph. D candidate MacKenzie McKeown discussed the use of immersive technology in training to better prepare and prevent accidents with transport vehicles on Tuesday. McKeown said since the Humboldt tragedy, she’s been working to improve training systems to better support skilled trade drivers.
