B.C. doctor shares concerns about kidney transplant challenges

Dr. John Gill, a nephrologist at St. Paul’s Hospital, says a shortage of surgeons has limited B.C.’s capacity to perform kidney transplants. As a result, some kidneys donated in B.C. have been transplanted into patients outside the province or not used at all, he tells Global News on Tues. July 4, 2023.
