Selkirk, Man., residents to see more greenery with new naturalization project

July 4, 2023
Selkirk chief administrative officer Duane Nicol spoke on Monday about the city's initiative to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve biodiversity by planting wild grasses on a section of Main Street and in Selkirk Park, in Manitoba. Nicol added that the introduction of more natural grasses will significantly reduce Selkirk's maintenance budget.
