Canada Day is sometimes reflected upon in a different manner by many Chinese-Canadians and Chinese immigrants, often being called “Humiliation Day.” The exclusion act, a controversial law implemented in 1923, halted Chinese immigration to Canada for decades. Mike Drolet reports.
