The U.S. Coast Guard said Sunday it has convened a Marine Board of Investigation into the cause of the implosion of a tourist submersible while on a dive to explore the wreck of the Titanic. Capt. Jason Neubauer, chief investigator, said the investigation was in the early “evidence gathering” stages but that a final report would be made available to international maritime authorities.
