National Security spokesperson John Kirby confirmed during the daily White House briefing in Washington, D.C. on Friday that the acoustic data gathered by the U.S. Navy while searching for the Titan submersible was immediately passed onto the U.S. Coast Guard incident commander. Kirby added the Navy was clear about not being definitive on what the data meant or its possible connection to the Titan.
