Calgary man Zacary Jeaurond spoke with Global News on Monday about the campaign he started in hopes Tim Hortons will keep the walnut crunch donut in stores permanently after it returned on May 31. The campaign has seen him running or cycling to different parts of the province, including to Tim Hortons stores, as a way to “raise awareness.” He said he’s hoping the company will eventually challenge him to a run or bike ride or even fundraiser for one of their charities in exchange for keeping his favourite donut.
