Canada’s Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino faced questions on Wednesday about when he was notified about notorious serial killer Paul Bernardo’s transfer to a medium-security prison. Mendicino told the House he was notified only a day after Bernardo was moved from the maximum-security prison. However, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre accused Mendicino of knowing three months prior to the move. Poilievre then asked for the public safety minister to resign.
