Winnipeg city planner Karin Kliewer said Tuesday that students can visit three “learning sites” represented in Minecraft to learn from non-playable characters modelled after Mayor Scott Gillingham, Indigenous leader Leslie Spillett, and historian Murray Peterson. Kliewer said she sees students including solutions to housing, accessibility and a lot of green space in their creations, which will help inspire CentrePlan 2050.
