Nova Scotia wildfires: Fire outside Halifax now considered ‘under control,’ official says
Description
June 4, 2023
"This fire is now considered under control," said David Steeves, a technician of forest resources for Nova Scotia’s Department of Natural Resources and Renewables. "We've had over 45 millilitres of rain in the last day and a half, and our fire crews out there are still picking up ash pits, smoke and even one area of open flame...this does not mean this fire is over, we're going to have to continue to be vigilant" he added.
