Speaking at a press conference in Ottawa on Friday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Canada has had “frank conversations” with Poland’s Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki on matters surrounding LGBTQ2 rights and democracy. “We will continue to work together on a broad range of things, but we will continue to be there to stand up for the values that matter as well,” Trudeau said.
