Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke in Toronto Thursday, as the federal government proclaimed a National Day Against Gun Violence to be held annually on the first Friday of June. The prime minister appeared alongside Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino and Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri. Trudeau acknowledged the landlord-tenant dispute that resulted in the murder of a young couple in Hamilton last week. “This has got to stop,” he said.
