Poilievre demands public inquiry into foreign interference, slams Trudeau and ‘chalet buddy’

During Tuesday’s question period in the House of Commons, Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre demanded Prime Minister Justin Trudeau launch a public inquiry into foreign election interference, claiming Trudeau’s long-time “chalet buddy” — former governor general David Johnston — has been “trying to cover up” China’s alleged interference in Canadian elections.
