Earlier than normal start for smoky skies bulletins in the Okanagan
Description
May 18, 2023
While conditions have improved somewhat throughout the day--much of the Okanagan is blanketed by thick smoke--for the second day in a row. It's prompted the B.C. Government to keep in place its smoky skies bulletin and Interior Health to advise those at risk to reduce their time outdoors. The smoky conditions not that unusual for the Okanagan but how early we're experiencing them certainly is. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
