Striking school staff in Halifax mark Black Excellence Day

A sea of pink was replaced with black and gold on the picket lines across the Halifax area Monday. Striking school staff donned the new colours to mark Black Excellence Day – and to draw attention to cancelled events. As Skye Bryden-Blom reports, many celebrations could not go ahead as planned amid the strike.
