Quebec legislators table bill to give themselves hefty raise

Members of the National Assembly are poised to get a $30,000 raise in the coming week. The CAQ tabled a bill that, if passed, will give elected officials a significant salary increase. An independent committee recommended the pay bump last month but the proposal is creating tension in Quebec City. Global’s Dan Spector reports.
