Speaking on Thursday after the announcement of a new national risk profile, Emergency Preparedness Minister Bill Blair said that the government is developing a national flood insurance plan. He added that the government will unveil a flood risk portal in the months ahead, which will allow Canadians and municipalities to access data on flood risks.
