Edmonton Police Chief Dale Mcfee said that a suspect was in the hospital on life support after a violent incident in southeast Edmonton on Friday left a mother and child dead. Mcfee confirmed that the unnamed suspect was previously known to authorities and said that everyone in the city should feel the “unthinkable loss” of a mother and child.
