A Montreal curling club held a tournament on Sunday to raise funds to help support Ukrainian refugees that have settled in Lachine. As Global’s Phil Carpenter reports, some of the new arrivals that fled the war-torn country have taken to the sport to adapt to Canadian life, and some have gotten so good you would never guess they were new to the sport.
