Asked if the deadline to get Canadians out of Sudan would need to be extended after a mechanical issue as well as chaos on the runway, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he had been informed the issue for one plane had been resolved. He also said they were looking to continue flights out of Sudan “as quickly as possible,” and said it’s a combined effort of many countries and Canada would continue to play a role.
