Supreme Court of Canada dismisses appeal in ‘Surrey Six’ murder case

The Supreme Court of Canada has dismissed the Crown’s appeal – in a 2007 Surrey gangland murder case. Cody Haevischer and Matthew Johnston – were both found guilty of first-degree murder in 2014 – seven years after the executions of six people in a Surrey highrise apartment building.
