With a significant weather change predicted for the weekend, water levels in creeks and rivers are expected to rise in the Okanagan and surrounding regions. The unusually cooler temperatures over the past month followed by this weekend’s dramatic warm-up will mean a sudden snowmelt and that has officials keeping a close eye on the potential for localized flooding.
