Bed Bath & Beyond filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Sunday after the New Jersey-based retailer failed to secure funds to stay afloat. As a result, the home goods store has begun a liquidation sale, but said it would keep its stores and websites open to continue serving customers.
